Halodrol Review 2020: pro’s & COn’s of this AAS

Medical History of Halodrol

A favorite of bodybuilders for over ten years, Halodrol is one of the most powerful and popular muscle-building compounds around today. Originally classified as an anabolic steroid, Halodrol has since been reformulated to prohormone status. Despite the change, it continues to be the go-to supplement that bodybuilders crave. It is important, however, to fully understand what Halodrol is and the benefits and side effects that come along with taking this bodybuilding supplement.

As discussed above, there are two versions of Halodrol. The original one was very popular around 2006. It was a derivative of testosterone and was a 17a-alkylated anabolic steroid. Bodybuilders quickly garnered attention from the bodybuilding community, and, unfortunately, from the Food and Drug Administration. They saw the extreme anabolic properties that it contained and quickly discontinued it.

The supplement resurged in 2014 when it was rebranded by Gaspari Nutrition to Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals. It teeters on the line of legality since most of the prohormones have been banned. It contains five ingredients, that will be discussed in the next section. These five ingredients combine to give Halodrol its positive benefits. But, many people are iffy on their feelings towards some of the ingredients.

Benefits of Halodrol

The ingredients that make up Halodrol will convert to more powerful anabolic compounds once they travel through the liver. This is the reason why prohormones have the ability to teeter along the line of legality. They are not steroids, but once they are processed by the liver, they develop the necessary enzyme to become steroidal.

This ingredient is converted in the body as testosterone that helps to support muscle building. It is effective for improving the entire body composition with the development of large muscles. However, it can be a dangerous substance once it passes through your liver.

This prohormone helps to increase testosterone in the body, which promotes the androgenic and anabolic environment for growth in muscles. The manufacturer has made claims of enhanced testosterone, muscle building, and sexual performance. But, several reviews have stated that the claims were unfounded.

This natural ingredient stems from natural pine pollen. It is converted into DHT, which lends itself to being more androgenic than testosterone. As a result, people should see an increase in building strength, muscle, and recovery time. Baldness has been connected with increased levels of DHT, which is something that people should be aware of before taking the supplement.

Androstenolone Acetate (DHEA)

This prohormone is converted into testosterone and helps in the promotion of muscle building and gains in strength.

Rhaponticum carthamoides Extract

This herbal remedy was once used as a treatment in sexual performance. Because of its ability to increase protein synthesis, this ingredient can improve strength and muscle building. It is often compared to the herbal remedy of Dianabol.

Side Effects

As with any supplement, side effects can be expected. Most prohormones come with the common side effects listed below. It is important to know about these side effects before taking the product to make sure that you maintain your safety.

Potential Liver and Kidney Damage

Our liver and kidneys are important in processing the five prohormone ingredients. As a result, this can cause a lot of stress on the organs. Some of the ingredients in Halodrol are considered liver toxic. Continued use of this supplement can cause serious damages if taken in high doses.

Hair Loss

When DHT levels rise, the risk of male baldness increases. This has become very common in all people who use Halodrol.

Cardiovascular Stress

People who use Halodrol may see an increase in blood pressure. This prohormone has been known to promote cardiovascular stress. Using the supplement for a long period of time can negatively impact the performance of their hearts.

Estrogen Levels

When testosterone levels are spiked, our bodies become dependent on the supplement and stops producing the hormone on its own. When the supplement is finished, people see their testosterone levels drop and estrogen levels rise. This should be seen as a big concern for anyone who uses prohormones.

The new Halodrol formula has a proprietary blend of 250mg per tablet. As a result, it is unclear how much of each ingredient you are getting per tablet. One serving should be taken 30 minutes before training or during the afternoon on rest days. People should never take more than is directed because all the side effects above will increase with a higher dosage.

A typical cycle lasts around four weeks, but many people will extend it to six weeks. It is critical that people don’t go beyond six weeks as your liver will be in danger. A post-cycle therapy supplement should be used when the cycle ends to help repair any liver and kidney damage.

When you compare the pros and cons, the cons far outweigh the pros. The potential damage to your liver and kidney may be just enough of a warning to avoid taking Halodrol. It will be tough to maintain the gains once the cycle comes to an end. The bottoming out of your testosterone levels after completing the cycle, which will be something that will have consequences that are not worth the gains. There are many alternatives that people can look into if they do not feel comfortable with the potential side effects. Legal steroids provide some of the best ways to build your muscles without terrible side effects.

People who do use the product can expect to build muscle, bulk up, burn fat, and increase people’s overall strength levels. It is effective for people to increase their athletic performance in the gym. It gives people the ability to lift more weight. When you lift more weight, you are able to stimulate the greatest levels of muscle hypertrophy. People will certainly feel the benefits of the product, but its long term effects should be called into question. It does not appear to be the ideal supplement if you are looking to see long term effects.
